We have a lovely Farm Shop selling produce from the farm and other local producers. What doesn’t come from the farm comes from suppliers that share our ethics, whether it’s outdoor-reared meat and eggs from Sandridge Farm, Story Butchers and Fair Ash Farm, or fresh fruit & veg from The Community Farm. We believe passionately in supporting small, local producers, especially ones with a great story to tell. We stock Jam Plan preserves because they use surplus fruit and veg to make preserves that support charities, and Hodmedod’s pulses and grains because they grow and process in the UK food staples that are often imported. Our milk comes from Jess’s Ladies 80-strong herd in Somerset, and our ice cream is made by Chew Moos, just a few miles away. We love to bring you products made by other social enterprises and community businesses, and keep our spending as local as we can. We have a lovely range of homemade chutneys, which also make great gifts.
As well as local food, we sell a selection of useful and beautiful things, such as Chilly’s water bottles, Ecoffee cups, made from bamboo (use them in the café for 10% off your coffee) Raw Soap Company handmade goat’s milk soap and Beeswax wraps.
